Well it’s true what they say- when you’re given an opportunity, grab it with both hands – and I didn’t!!!!
I was used and abused by the media !!!
I think I lasted two minutes before I was taken off air AND I DID NOT MENTION Rowing for Children, Safe Anchor Trust or Wooden Spoon – Despite hours of preparation I BLEW IT !!!!
Sorry peeps what can I say all that tweeting and I blew it. Will I be given another chance? Radio Leeds say they will. If I get in front of that mike I’ll just repeat a mantra of Rowing for Children Rowing for Children Rowing for Children. The whole interview can be heard by going to the website and clicking on the Breakfast show moving the time line to 8.55am.
